Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ University’s Women’s Volleyball team is excited to host Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Volleyball Youth Day on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena.
The 2023 Defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Champion Stags face off against the Quinnipiac Bobcats in this community event which will promote the strong partnership between the University and Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Public Schools.
Following the collegiate match, the day will feature a competition between the Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Warde and Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Ludlowe Girls’ Volleyball teams at 3:30 p.m., bringing together local students, families, and fans.
“We are proud to partner with Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ Public Schools in hosting this special day,” said Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ University Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jennifer Anderson. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase the talent of our local athletes, and underscores the collaborative spirit between the Town of Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ and Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ University.”
Admission is free and open to the public.
