UPCOMING EVENTS
On October 22, 2020, we held our 6th forum in our series, Race, Disability, and Mental
Health Rights. This event's purpose was to discuss the intersectionality of Race,
Disability, and Mental Health. We were excited to have 87 students, faculty, staff,
alumni, community, and national audience members in attendance. Panelist, Julie Jodoin-Krauzyk,
Director of Disability Services at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾, gave a powerful presentation
that led audience members through the history of Disability and Mental Health from
ancient times to the present day. Moderator, Robert Delaleu, Director of Multicultural
Affairs and Interim SSEM Leader at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾, led a panel discussion
highlighted by students, alumni, and professionals who identify or work within the
areas of Disability and Mental Health. The panel provided friendly conversation that
included personal stories, data, and reflection on their own intersection of these
identities.
